Nerja
Nerja
Popular with visitors from all around the world!
Despite having all the international hotels, shops and restaurants demanded by the modern holiday maker, Nerja is far less built up than other coastal towns along the Costa del Sol. It still retains the essence of what it was, and still is, a classic Spanish white pueblo, and many an hour can be spent wandering through its charming streets.
Fronted by the sparkling Mediterranean and with a backdrop of the majestic Tejada, Almijara and Alhama mountain range just a few kilometres behind, its popularity is hardly surprising. [Pictured perfectly by Carlos Castro Fotógrafo in his photo of Nerja and the Balcon, on the left].
But for holiday makers there are some classic beaches to relax on, plenty of places to shop, plus some great restaurants and bars, many of which put on live music in the evening. Follow the links below to find out what Nerja has to offer!
