Where to see a Cabalgata de Papa Noel in the Axarquiá.

The Three Kings may be the most important celebration for children in Andalucia but Santa certainly makes an effort to join in too! Here’s our list of parades and events celebrating Father Christmas or Papa Noel in the east of Málaga…

Friday 21 December

La Caleta

4:30 pm: Visit of Father Christmas. 


4: 30 pm: Parade with Father Christmas. The parade leaves from the Plaza de la Iglesia, Avda Andalucia, and ends at the Plaza of the 3 cultures – where letters will be delivered to Santa.

Torre del Mar

4.30 pm: Parade with Santa from calle del Mar.

Saturday 22 December

Velez Malaga

5:00 pm: Parade with Father Christmas from the Plaza de las Carmelitas

Sunday 23 December


Visit of Father Christmas in ‘La Carpa del Parque de la Escalerilla


5:00 pm  A Christmas themed parade presided over by Santa Claus. Itinerary includes: Calle Jaén (salida), Diputación, Granada, Ermita, San :Miguel, Plaza Cantarero, Pintada, Puerta del Mar, Balcón de Europa

Christmas Eve


5.00 pm: Santa visits the children of Maro.
